Lisa Evans recently travelled to the Indonesian island and discovered the Bras for Bali charity.
The charity gives bras to Balinese women and girls who would not otherwise have access to them.
Evans discovered the charity after researching ways to give back and get off the beaten track in Bali.
She put a call-out for donations on her personal Facebook page, and she was overwhelmed with the response.
Evans was inundated with bras, school supplies and shirts from Moss Vale Soccer Club.
She also took basic food supplies over, and reading glasses that belonged to her parents.
“My parents passed away and we gave them their glasses. It was an overwhelming experience,” she said.
“They were so grateful, I wish I had more to give them.
“They put on the soccer shirts straight away.”
Evans said she wanted to go back and bring more donations to the villages.
“I can’t wait to go back. I’ve got so many others who want to give,” she said.
“Even the smallest donation of $5 gets so much.”
