Round 11 of the competition was played at Church Road Playing Fields on Monday, January 29.
Moss Vale Summer Soccer coordinator Blake Hampton said interest in the summer competition was growing each year.
“I think it’s growing organically. We have interest from people in the Highlands, Tahmoor and Goulburn,” Hampton said.
“The summer competition leads into the winter competition, this gives us continuity.”
Hampton said the summer competition catered to new and returning players.
This included people who have recently moved to the area.
“We’ve had quite a few players coming in fresh [to soccer],” he said.
“It’s a great way for social integration, nothing can compete in terms of sport.”
