NSW State Emergency Service is an invaluable service when it comes to easing the burden in times of trouble. The Wingecarribee SES is no exception.
SES Wingecarribee Unit had one of the highest number of rescue call-outs in the state in 2017.
More 75 call-outs were attended by our volunteers.
This included flood rescues, vertical rescues, community first respondent jobs, general land rescue call-outs and road crashes.
Our ability to come to the rescue of the community relies entirely on the generous dedication and hard work of our volunteers.
The ongoing demand means more volunteers are always needed.
Now that 2018 is underway the NSW SES Wingecarribee Unit is looking for more volunteers.
Have you considered doing something extra to help out your local community? Why not join us and “See Yourself in Orange.”
There are many different roles inside the NSW SES including incident management, media liaison, road crash rescue, flood Rrscue and vertical rescue just to name a few.
So if you have the 2018 goal of “New Year – New Me!” why not get involved and join the team at Wingecarribee.
Applications for our March volunteer intake are now open. Complete the online application form via the link below before the end of January and kick start your New Year.
