These birds of a feather were recently seen sticking together at Bradman Oval.

While the oval is best known for plenty of cricketing action these two galahs found the grounds a perfect location to forage for food.

It was a sight that Southern Highland News reporter and keen snapper, Emily Bennett, was eager to capture on camera.

Did you know the galah is an  "Old Australian" word or derrogatory term that means a "loud-mouthed idiot"?

The term specifically relates to this native Australian bird that makes a distinctive (and quite funny-sounding) call.
