Graham Brown and Daughter Transport, based in Moss Vale, was instrumental in removing a prime mover from the middle of the road on Wednesday morning.
About 6.15am on January 10 police attached to the Joint Traffic Task Force and Penrith Highway Patrol attended the intersection of Mamre Road and Erskine Park Road, Erskine Park, where the B double combination of a prime mover had detached.
As a result, the road was closed for about an hour, causing major delays.
A passing prime mover from Graham Brown and Daughter Transport stopped and assisted police with removing the B double combination from the road.
As a result police were able to open the roadway.
NSW Police made a public thank you to Graham Brown and Daughter Transport on Facebook this morning.
“Police would like to thank Graham Brown and Daughter transport for their valuable assistance this morning,” the post said.
