Members of the Moss Vale community can explore the campus as part of a series of special guided tours designed to showcase state-of-the-art facilities and course offerings available.
The TAFE NSW Moss Vale team will be on hand to offer career advice, with opportunities to meet the teachers and chat with inspiring graduates now working in their chosen field.
“TAFE NSW offers over 1200 courses in a range of critical areas in-demand from industry and provides students with the training they need to secure a job,” TAFE NSW Regional General Manager Kerry Penton said.
“At TAFE NSW, students can study when, where and what they want and are supported by a talented community of career advisors, counsellors and teachers.”
Campus tours will be held from 10.30am to 11am and 2pm to 2.30pm daily from January 15 to 19.
The NSW Government provides significant subsidies for a range of courses at TAFE NSW, ensuring students can undertake the studies they need to upskill or find a new job, without having to graduate with a huge debt.
Goulburn MP Pru Goward said studying at TAFE NSW was the perfect opportunity for people considering their post-school options, a career change or wishing to gain new skills to secure a promotion.
“TAFE NSW offers over 1,200 courses in a range of critical areas in-demand from industry and provides students with the training they need to secure a job,” Ms Goward said.
“At TAFE NSW, students can study when, where and what they want and are supported by a talented community of career advisors, counsellors and teachers.
“I encourage all members of the community to go along to [the open days] next week to take a look at the exciting vocational education and training options available to them.”
For those who can’t attend, signature events from around the state will be live-streamed to the TAFE NSW Facebook page throughout the week, with extended hours and extra activities for TAFE Tuesday at select campuses.
TAFE NSW Enrolment Week 2017 attracted more than 10,000 attendees to 1,300 events, with a further 26,000 people watching online via Facebook Live events.
