Australian and English parliamentarians will battle for the Ashes from 10.30am on January 2.

This is a free family event with packages for Museum tour/all day entry and delicious lunch available.

There will be 35 overs each side on the hallowed turf of Bradman Oval.

It is perfect occasion to watch a game of Traditional Village Green cricket in a spectacular location, and it is sure to be entertaining and hard-fought.

The Australian Parliament Sports Club exists to foster international relations development and friendship as part of a world-wide movement.

Australia is one of eight participating nations under the control of the Council for Inter Parliamentary Sport.

In the past decade substantial sums have been raised for several charitable causes.

Nelson Mandela, former Prime Ministers Yoshiro Mori, Gordon Brown, Tony Abbott and Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg have all keenly supported at various times since the Council was formed.

On Wednesday, January 3 fans will play their own match on the historic oval from 10.30am.
