BERRIMA MAN ARRESTED
At 6.35am on Sunday, December 31 2017 police attended an address in Berrima looking for a 33-year-old Berrima man who was wanted for an outstanding First Instance Warrant.

When police attended they were invited into the home where they conducted a search and eventually located the man hiding in a cupboard. Police arrested the man before conducting a further search were they allegedly located a quantity of ice, ecstasy and cocaine.
The man was taken to Bowral Police Station and was charged with three counts of Possess Prohibited Drug and the First Instance Warrant.
Bail was refused and he will appear in Campbelltown Local Court on January 8.
UNLICENSED DRIVER
At 8.15am on Saturday, December 31 2017 police stopped a 2008 Toyota Corolla on the Illawarra Highway at Moss Vale for a roadside breath test.
The 20-year-old driver from Figtree returned a negative reading. Inquiries at the scene allegedly revealed the 20-year-old was the holder of a provisional drivers license which had been suspended back in October 2017.
The man was issued a Court Attendance Notice to appear in Moss Vale Local Court in February 2018.
CRASH AT WINGELLO
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious car crash on Murimba Road at Wingello on Friday, December 29.
At 3.30pm a 45-year-old Hill Top man was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla north along Murimba Road when a collision occurred with a 1991 Toyota Hilux which was being driven by a 27-year-old Wingello man.
As a result of the crash, the Toyota came to rest on its roof with the Corolla several metres away. The Wingello man managed to get his family out of the car, which included a 19-month-old baby.
All people involved in the crash were taken to Liverpool Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police are continuing inquiries and are appealing for any witness to contact Bowral Police on 8629299 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
POLICE PURSUIT
A Mittagong man will face court later this month after becoming involved in a police pursuit.
At 5.42pm on Friday, December 29 2017 police were travelling along the Old Hume Highway at Mittagong when they saw a 2003 Ford Falcon Station wagon travelling in the opposite direction.
Police attempted to stop the Ford to speak with the driver, when the driver allegedly sped off.
Police activated their lights and sirens and began to pursue the Ford, which had allegedly committed a number of traffic offences.
After a short period of time, the driver pulled over on Railway Parade Mittagong.
The 41-year-old driver from Mittagong was arrested.
While arresting the driver, police saw the rear passenger laying across the back seat without a seat belt on.
The Mittagong man was taken to Bowral Police Station and given a Oral Drug Test which returned a positive reading.
The driver had his licensed suspended before being charged with being involved in a police pursuit.
He will appear in Moss Vale Local Court on January 23 2018.
