A man wearing a balaclava was arrested by police after allegedly spray painting the outside of a train at Moss Vale railway station on Wednesday morning.

A railway worker approached the man, 31, at 9:30am after which the man ran across the railway lines towards Lackey Road.
The man was later located a the station platform by police where his mobile phone was seized.
The man allegedly assaulted an officer and gave chase along the railway lines, after which Police were forced to deploy capsicum spray as the man resisted arrest.
The man, from Matraville, was taken to Bowral Police Station and charged with malicious damage, face disguised wiht intent to commit an indictable offence, assault police and resist arrest.
He was granted bail and will appear at Moss Vale Court on February 20.
