Steve Waugh Cricket clinics will return to Bradman Oval during December and January.
The program will cover core cricket skills including batting, bowling, wicketkeeping and fielding.
Children will also learn about other aspects of cricket such as strategy, tactics, teamwork, health, fitness and nutrition.
The Steve Waugh Cricket coaching team includes Duncan Kerr, Greg Small, Corey Richards, Simon Gould and Alex Kemp.
Bradman Museum volunteer and ex-Australian cricketer Tina Macpherson encouraged children to get involved.
“It’s an intensive couple of days,” she said. “It’s a fun time, the children can learn a lot and there’s good coaching staff here.”
A two-day pre-Christmas clinic will run from Thursday, December 21 to Friday, December 22.
A three-day summer clinic will run from Tuesday, January 16 to Thursday, January 18.
The programs will run as a part of a partnership between Steve Waugh Cricket and the Bradman Foundation.
Visit www.bradman.com.au for more information or to register for the clinics.
