Due to the hot, dry conditions fire permits have been suspended in the shire. 

The Rural Fire Service will regularly monitor conditions to decide whether this restriction can be lifted.

Any person who lights a fire without a permit during the Bush Fire Danger Period may be subject to heavy penalties.
