While in his final year at Oxley College, the 18-year-old combined studying for the HSC, his leadership duties as captain of Florey House with claiming a spot in the ACT/NSW Country under 19s Cricket team.
Dummer was selected in the NSW Country Squad back in March and continued training in the off season until the final selections at the three day under 19s State Challenge. Two squads of 25 players battled it out until the final ACT/NSW under 19s team was selected.
The team is currently in Tasmania competing at the National Championships.
Many of the team will open HSC results while they are away and are hoping for excellent results on and off the turf.
When he returns, Dummer will continue paying for Campbelltown in 1st and 2nd grade as opening batsman until the end of the season when he hopes to jet off to the UK for a season of County Cricket.
