The Bong Bong street business has been painted ‘duck egg blue’ as a part of stage one of the hotel’s renovation.
According to operations manager Clinton Mervis, the building was painted blue to match its new neighbours across the road.
This includes cafes, eateries and a clothing store.
Mr Mervis said he has received several compliments about the hotel’s new look in the past few weeks.
“People think it looks fresh,” he said.
“It’s still a work in progress, we’ll be painting for a few weeks.”
Stage one of the renovation will also include a VIP lounge and children’s playground.
Stage two will focus on the interior, and will include a larger dining area and sports bar.
