Richie Strahan just can't seem to catch a break.
The former Bachelor has parted ways with Chadwick Models, the agency he had been with for over two years, even before he started his first reality television love journey on The Bachelorette with Sam Frost in 2015.
The split happened four months ago - around the same time that it was revealed his chosen one, Alex Nation, had also dumped him and taken up with her female football friend, Maegan Luxa.
Strahan, 31, a Perth-based rope technician, did not respond to Fairfax Media's request for comment on how the separation from Chadwick came about, while the agency's Perth manager, Tanya Muia, said they don't discuss those details before she abruptly hung up the phone.
However, an insider has said it was not Strahan's decision.
To rub salt further into the wounds, Nation and his other ex Olena Khamula remain on the agency's books, alongside A-list names such as former Victoria's Secret model Bridget Malcolm, Jessica and Ashley Hart, Rachel Hunter and one of the most recognisable transgender models in the world, Andreja Pejic.
To boost his profile, it has been rumoured that Strahan might be set to appear on The Bachelor in Paradise that Ten are currently filming in Fiji, despite him saying: "I will 100 per cent not be doing this."
Meanwhile, his ex's relationship is going from strength to strength with Nation publicly announcing her love for Luxa, a chef, also from the Mornington Peninsula.
Speaking about their relationship, Nation has explained her "heart isn't one to discriminate" and has even introduced Luxa to her son Elijah, six.
When it comes to love, my friends and family would tell you that my heart isn't one to discriminate. I very much fall for a person and the connection that I share with them. My heart is a wild thing, it craves extraordinary adventure. It's impulsive, sometimes a little dysfunctional but it's big and loud and I follow it to the nth degree. What a wonderful adventure it is with her ???
