There will be six races to watch at Bong Bong Racecourse.
The first race will start 1.15pm and the final race will start at 5pm.
This year racing legend Gai Waterhouse will have a horse in the annual event.
Multitude will race in the Bong Bong Cup, which will start at 4.25pm.
The horse will be jockeyed by Maddison Wright, and Waterhouse’s trainer Adrian Bott will be in attendance to watch the races.
Southern Tablelands trainers Emma and Lucy Longmire have also entered their horse Newtown Bluebag in the Bong Bong Cup. Last season the Longmire stable trained seven winners. The latest winner was Ribs at Gundagai on November 17.
Exeter trainer Sarah Murray-Leslie will also take part in this year’s picnic races.
Murray-Leslie will enter Ain’t She A Dane in the Wyeera Flying Open Handicap race at 3.35pm, and Mop The Floor in the Class B Handicap race at 5pm.
Last season Murray-Leslie stable trained four winners. So far this season she has produced the winners of five races. The latest winner was Ain't She A Dane at Nowra on November 7. Goulburn trainer Tash Burleigh will be trackside at Bong Bong Racecourse on Friday.
Burleigh has entered horse One Sunday in the Class One and Maiden Plate Race, which will start at 3pm. Last season Burleigh stable trained 10 winners. This season she has produced the winners of one race. Her latest winner was Territorial at Goulburn on November 5.
South Coast trainer Robert Price is hoping for a win on Friday. Price has trained horse Tradtri for the Bong Bong Cup.
Tradtri galloped to Cup victory in the 2014 after being trained by Price.
