A disappointing night out for the Over 35s Bombers 'old boys' against the winless-to-date Campbelltown Ghosts Gumbies.
The opposition got off to a flying start with a five run first innings.
The Bombers then matched it.
This made it look like it would be a real contest.
The Ghosts turned in another three runs in the second innings.
This was again equalled by the Bombers thanks to a massive three-run drive from Ben O'Rourke.
From there however, the Bombers' batting performance dropped off.
Some basic errors crept into the field, which allowed the Ghosts to capitalise for their first victory of the season.
A nod to the Bombers' pitching squad of Mat Shaw, Ben O'Rourke and Guy Farrugia who all endured well on a tough evening.
