Beecroft came to defend its title as it had been the holder for many years.

Although Beecroft won four rinks and Bowral two rinks, Bowral came out in front on shots 93-77.

Clive Neutze, Don Chapman and Josh Woodcock defeated Beecroft 25-6. 

This was a very positive win for Bowral, always in control of the match from start to finish.

Elaine Jones, Carl Spilker and Dougal Braithwaite defeated Beecroft 19-12. 

This was a grind out win for Bowral, with play close for most of the way.

Other results from the match:

Yvonne Chapman, Robin Staples and Gail Fraser lost to Beecroft 15-13.

Keith Edwards, Enid Brown and Gordon Lewis lost to Beecroft 14-10.

Brian Porter, Reta South and Bruce Clynes lost to Beecroft 13-10.

Noel Fraser, Mick Flynn and Paul Leverett lost to Beecroft 17-16.

Hopefully Bowral can hold on to the cup for a while.

Gail Fraser and Jim Neely defeated Enid Brown and Bill Dodwell 31-11 in the final of the mixed pairs championship at Bowral Bowling Club on November 16.

Unfortunately for Brown and Dodwell they found Fraser and Neely in red hot form.

Fraser and Neely took every opportunity in the match and were worthy Bowral mixed pairs champions.

Meanwhile John Lewis and Peter Morales defeated Kurt Griebenow and Brian Carlile 18-17 in the match of the day on November 15. 

The match was very tight right through the ends until Griebenow and Carlile for the first time in the match took the lead 16-9.

Although Lewis and morales had fallen behind they came home the stronger to snatch a one shot win.

J Fleming, D Coleman defeated B Donnely, B Payne 20-17.

G Giese, C Neutze defeated J Davies, D Chambers 18-12.

H Wall, K Limbrick defeated C Stone, B Porter 20 - 17.

B Pope, R Denman, K Edwards defeated B Kennett, J Cummins, R Bromley 22-20.

D Ticehurst, G Lewis defeated J Edmonds, M Flynn 23-13.
