On Friday, November 17 the Moss Vale Lions club presented the children with a sound system to use in their classrooms.
The equipment is intended to assist children, particularly those with hearing loss, attention deficit disorders and learning difficulties, to hear their teachers more clearly.
Kindergarten teacher Jesse Malloy said it would make a huge difference in the class, enabling all students to hear her as she taught the class.
The donation is part of the Lions’ ‘Sound Field System Project’, financed by a donation from Beth Klugh, that presents schools across Australia with sound systems.
Since its inception, the Moss Vale Lions club has gifted more than $1,000,000 worth of hardware to schools nationwide.
