The ladies played in the annual club fours competition, which was held at Bowral Bowling Club.

Reta South’s team proved too strong on the day.

The bowlers defeated Gail Fraser’s team 27 to 14.

After losing the first two ends, South’s team never looked like they were going down.

All players from team South continually contributed bowls into the head. 

Team South kept its consistency until the end of the competition, and was announced as the winner.

The team was made up of Reta South, Carol Dunwell, Fay Jones and Brenda Campbell.

​The runner-up team was Gail Fraser’s team.

This included Fran Post, Alison Pryce and Margaret Pemberton.
