Saddle up for a day of equestrian fun.

The Berrima and District Pony Club (BDPC) Tulip Time Gymkhana will be held at BDPC Pony Club, Moss Vale Road, Burradoo from 8.30am to 4pm on Sunday.

There will be hacking and showjumping, as well as ring events for beginners and transitional riders.

Riders will come from different pony clubs throughout zone 10, and will be aged from four to 20.

BDPC secretary Wendy Cochrane said community members were welcome to attend the gymkhana and watch the events.

“It’s a good introduction to the club,” Cochrane said.

“We always get a great variety of riders.”

Cochrane invited prospective members of the pony club to come along to the gymkhana.

“You meet people with similar interests, form fantastic friendships and learn new skills,” she said.
