Robertson Burrawang Cricket Club was defeated by the Moss Vale Warners at Hampden Park in Robertson on the weekend. Moss Vale team captain George Lewis said the team worked hard to produce good results on the day. “We went well. It was a team effort,” Lewis said. His fellow team member Darcy Kent said the team managed to turn its luck around from last week.
“It was fun. Last week I wanted us to come back from a loss,” Kent said.
Bowral Boons were defeated by the Bowral Renshaws at Stephens Park, while the Bowral Maxwells defeated the Bowral Starcs at the park.
Mittagong was defeated by Gib Gate Primary School at Welby Oval, and Moss Vale Smiths experienced a defeat against Bundanoon at Lackey Oval in Moss Vale.
Next week the Bowral Renshaws will take on the Moss Vale Smiths at Eridge Park, and the Bowral Maxwells will go up against Robertson Burrawang Cricket Club at Southern Highlands Christian School. The Bowral Starcs will take on Mittagong at Stephens Park, while Bundanoon and the Bowral Wades will test their skills at Exeter Oval. Gib Gate Primary School will go up against the Bowral Boons at Gib Gate in Mittagong.
