On October 21, the village opened its gates to the public for an open day and community-wide photo competition.
There was a morning tea, markets stalls offering locally made goods, a raffle and a sausage sizzle.
Cottages and serviced apartments were also open for inspection.
The photographic competition was judged and cash prizes awarded. Winners included Debbie Caitlin, Heather Turner, Joy Brown, Don Ezard, Virginia Adlide, Claudia Carroll and John Keen.
Organisers said the event was a success, and noted in particular that visitors enjoyed the gardens on the day.
“It was very pleasant to pull up a chair and sit under the trees while enjoying that cuppa or light lunch.” they said.
