This Friday, November 3 it returns.
The fair, which will run from 4pm to 7pm, boasts all of the traditional school fete attractions – rides, lucky dips, face painting, showbags, a petting zoo, and fairy floss.
This year, organisers said the fair’s sideshow alley is “bigger, better and even more disgusting”, and will feature Pick Dad's Nose, Goo Loos, Putt Putt Golf, Tin Can Toss, Plinko, String Surprise, Duck Splash, Jar Toss, Basketball Shootout and Splat the Rat.
There will also be sheep shearing demonstrations, a haunted house, and student artwork that will be up for silent auction.
The market area offers pre-loved treasures, pet rocks made by Year 5 students, home-grown produce contributed by the school community, and the ever-popular cakes, plants and sweets.
Entertainment will be provided by the school band, Bandemonium, along with local groups Flamenco Solymar, The Highlands School of Performing Arts, Moss Vale Gymnastics and Pointe Dynamic Arts.
A traditional raffle will offer a $1000 first prize, along with a new 'flower raffle', where punters can pick a flower to try to win a prize.
The fair is the school’s biggest fundraising event of the year and all the money raised on the night will go towards installing long-awaited solar panels, replacing the old unflued gas heaters in the classrooms and providing resources and opportunities for the students.
Entry to the fair is free, it will go ahead no matter the weather, and the whole community is welcome.
Moss Vale Public School is located on Browley Street, Moss Vale.
