The latest round of NSW Government heritage funding is now open.
The three grant programs aim to fund projects that promote and help put planning in place to protect the state’s heritage.
Wollondilly MP Jai Rowell said the latest round of NSW Heritage Grants would help local communities preserve their heritage for future generations.
“The grants are open to a range of groups such as businesses, councils, community groups, Aboriginal organisations and individuals,” he said.
The latest NSW Heritage Grants are available in three streams:
- Aboriginal Heritage grants of up to $70,000 are available for projects that conserve and promote items of Aboriginal cultural heritage listed on the State Heritage Register or gazetted as an Aboriginal Place.
- Projects which support the promotion, protection and celebration of NSW heritage can apply for grants of $25,000 to $50,000.
- Councils can also apply for grants to prepare heritage reports and heritage planning studies.
Applications are open until November 29 and be made for both state and locally listed heritage projects.
