Held at Lake Alexandra, students had the chance to enjoy interactive activities and learn more about their environment and sustainable living.
Schools Environment Day provides a positive way of instilling important environmental messages in the minds of the students.
It is an effective way of enhancing student respect and understanding of sustainable living and appreciation of the planet and its limited resources.
Schools Environment Day also provides an opportunity for schools to network with other agencies.
The RFS, National Parks and Wildlife and BirdLife Southern Highlands were among the agencies which took part in the event.
