►Police have conducted a compliance inspection at a trucking company involved in a fatal crash near Berrima over the weekend.
Shortly before 4am on October 14, a north bound b-double truck allegedly crossed to the southbound lanes on the Hume Highway near the Medway Road off ramp and crashed into a Ford Ranger utility.
►A man has been released on bail in relation to a fatal crash at Berrima which occurred on October 14.
Jeffery Bates, 63, appeared at Moss Vale Courthouse on October 16.
Mr Bates is facing three charges including dangerous driving occasioning death, driving in a dangerous manner and negligent driving occasioning death. More here.

A number of scams are circulating the internet at the moment and police from the Hume Local Area Command have reminded residents to be aware of cyber crime. More here.
►Sutton Farm opened its gates for the inaugural Sutton Farm Spring Spectacular on Sunday, October 8. About 70 riders from across Australia attended on the day.
Publicity coordinator Kate Berry said the event was a success. “It will be an annual event. As we progress, we want more riders,” Berry said. “We’re looking forward to hosting events that are bigger and better.”
►The Southern Highlands Vaulting Team was hard at work attending the 21st National Vaulting Championships and CVI1*, CVI2*, CVI3* Competition at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre recently.
CVI is the French acronym (Concours de Voltige International) meaning International Vaulting Competition.
