After a 10-week closure to facilitate a refurbishment, the store will reopen on Monday, October 23.
There is plenty of clothes, furniture, shoes and even the odd designer item up for grabs at the new-look store.
There are more than 150 St Vincent de Paul volunteers in the Southern Highlands, some of which have been involved with the organisation for about 30 years.
Volunteers have undergone a “refresher” training course and are excited to offer their time at the newly refurbished store.
Members of the public have also been invited to a blessing of the store at 9.45am on November 9.
The community has been welcomed to donate goods at the store and residents have been invited to sign-up as volunteers.
The Mittagong store is located at 22 Bowral Road, Mittagong and will be open six days a week.
There are also Vinnies stores located in Moss Vale and Bowral. Residents wishing to become volunteers should attend the stores and fill in an application form.
