Stafford played at Bowral Bowling Club on Sunday, September 24.
Kevin Stafford defeated Noel Fraser 31-24 in a quarter-final match of the handicap singles.
Fraser received a four shot start and after four ends had a lead 8-0.
He also shot away to a 14-5 lead after 15 ends.
Fraser appeared to have the game under his control and on target to take the match leading 24-14 after 26 ends.
Stafford then made a whopping comeback and won the next ten ends and take the match by seven shots.
Stafford has edged a step closer to the final.
