Council plans to redevelop the hall, including the historic School of Arts building, into a modern concert hall for music which will be acoustically excellent, comfortable, accessible and well equipped.
The redevelopment will also address essential upgrades and repairs to the building.
Displays and fact sheets have been prepared to provide detailed information about the project.
These can be viewed online at www.yoursaywingecarribee.com.au, Bowral and Mittagong libraries and the Civic Centre.
An information kiosk will also be held in the foyer of the Bowral Memorial Hall at the following times:
Tuesday, September 26: 4-6pm
Thursday, September 28: 10am-12 noon
Saturday, October 7: 10am-12 noon
The DA (number 17/1174) materials can be viewed in council’s DA Tracker at www.wsc.nsw.gov.au and at the Moss Vale Civic Centre.
A closing date for submissions is yet to be announced as part of the formal DA exhibition process.
