It will be an action-packed day for the Mittagong hockey sides.

Mittagong Sports Purple will take on Moss Vale White at 9am.

Mittagong Sports Black will take on Moss Vale Red at 12pm.

2nd division Sports Black:

Kaz – The finals series is Karen’s time to shine. She has came into her own semi final time displaying speed and sportsmanship proving why she is the most sort after goalie in the competition.

Linda – One of our more mature players. Linda knows only one speed and that is full throttle!

Emily – A Berrima junior who is very quiet. But what she doesn’t say on the field she certainly more than makes up for with her actions, saving her team regularly.

Jo – Will be sure to talk her team mates through the game and a player who would benefit her team if she could stay on her feet a bit more!

Kate – Another Berrima junior who is a complimentary addition to the side this year. She is a playmaker with skills to match.

Kel C – Kel is also co-captaining our 3 rd grade side. She puts in 110% every weekend, a committed and skilful player.

Kylie B – Besides her creative ability for jelly shots she is also a very dangerous player for the opposition, always in the right position to score the winning goal.

Kel G – Affectionately known as “nanna”. But don’t be fooled. This only describes her ability to party into the late hours of the night. On the field, she is anything but. Always gives a 110% as one of the more fitter players on the team. A hard worker who will be one to watch.

Jess – Our baby of the team. The only team member without babies of her own, she is also one of our more passionate team players who will come out firing and make a definite Impact on the game……if she doesn’t get injured first!

Bec – The versatile player of the team. Bec can slot into any position with ease. A talented goal scorer and solid defender.

Kel F – A player whose speed would rival Usain Bolt! With skills to match, if she gets past you look out as you are in deep trouble!

Kylie H – Another versatile player who also co-captains 3 rd grade. It doesn’t matter what position she plays, she is always solid and makes an impression.

3rd grade Sports Purple:

Liz E - The matriarch of the team! When she is not jetsetting around the world, Liz is the master goalie.

Hannah -Our brick wall of defense, very little gets passed her and she is known to put her body on the line to save a goal.

Bri - A new addition to our team, Bri has slotted into our team nicely, and is an asset to our defense line.

Kel C - Wonder woman! Back to hockey after 9 weeks from having her third child, Kel is co-captain and the powerhouse of the centres.

Liz M - Joined our team part way through the season and has slotted in nicely to the half line. She is solid in defense but doesn’t mind scoring a goal either!

Amanda - The quiet achiever of the team, Amanda is strong in defense and not much gets passed her.

Kylie - Co-captain of third grade, and a strong player. Attack or defense, Kylie has it covered!

Kel N – Kel has NEVER played hockey before this year, but you wouldn’t know it, Kelly has the energy and stamina to run all day.

Cath -Joined the season part way through, Cath is a valued member of the team, and can mark a player well out of the game.

Caroline - After having ascertained an injury early in the season, our May is back! Strong on tackles and another player that can run all day.

Nakita - New to the team this year, Nakita is one of our youngest members, and a real team player with enthusiasm.

Marissa - Has rejoined the team after a couple of years off. Marissa positions well, and is fired up to score some goals in the Grand Final.

Kel F - A compassionate player, who could outrun most, she can take the ball from one end of the field to the other in no time at all.

Jess - A passionate player, strong in attack and constantly putting her body on the line.
