The Mittagong Lions will defend its pride this weekend.
The Lions reserve side will take on the Camden Rams in the group six grand final at Campbelltown Stadium on September 16.
Captain Simon Reid said the team was ready for the game.
“Training has been tough but the desire to achieve something special is there,” Reid said.
“The energy around the team is great.”
The Mittagong Lions will take on the Camden Rams in the group six reserve grade grand final at Campbelltown Stadium.
“This game means a lot to the players, volunteers, committee and the Mittagong community, we are hoping to deliver and bring the title back to Mittagong,” he said.
“Camden are tough and are the defending premiers. The pressure is on them, but I am confident if we come with the right attitude, we will come close.”
