Mittagong Probus Club continues to grow.

New members Avena Bell and Cathy Tribe were inducted at the club's monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 6.

In welcoming Avena and Cathy, president Norman Pill spoke of the role of Probus in providing opportunities for retirees to be active, expand interests and enjoy the fellowship of the club, which meets at Mittagong RSL Club 10am on the first Wednesday of  the month.

Members are regularly treated to talks given by interesting and informative guest speakers, and this month Peter Magrath spoke on the planning, development and future operation of the proposed Southern Highlands Hospice.

The club continues to be active in promoting social outings, with a visit to the Norman Lindsay Gallery at Faulconbridge planned for September 27.
