Firearm stolen
Police are investigating the theft of a firearm from a house on Chapman Street, Moss Vale.

Between 9.30am and 5pm on August 21, a bolt action rifle was stolen. The rifle was secured inside a safe in a detached garage,
A speaker and food items were also stolen.

Woman rescued near falls
A bushwalker was rescued after falling at Moreton National Park.
About 11am on August 20, emergency services were called to the park near Belmore Falls following reports a 26-year-old female bushwalker had fallen.
Police with the assistance of NSW Ambulance helicopter sighted the woman about 11.50am. \
She was airlifted to Wollongong hospital where she was treated for a broken ankle.
Other bushwalkers with the woman were uninjured.
Police have urged bushwalkers to take care and adhere to the warning signs.
Woman freed from car following crash
A 47-year-old Yerrinbool woman was freed from her car by a passing driver earlier this year.
About 9.30pm on June 27 2017, police attended an incident on Range Road, Mittagong near Tourist Road.
On arrival police saw a Holden sedan on its roof on the side of the road. No other persons or vehicles were involved in the incident.
The driver was taken to hospital and a blood sample was obtained. The blood result revealed an alleged reading of 0.272.
The woman will be served a Court Attendance Notice for High Range Drink Driving and is expected to appear at Moss Vale Local Court on October 3.
High range drink driving charge
A woman charged with drink driving is alleged to have driven away from a roadside breath test.
About 5.40pm on August 17 2017, police were conducting Roadside Breath testing on Bowral Street, Bowral.
Police attempted to stop a Volvo Station Wagon for a breath test but the driver failed to comply with the direction of police and drove away.
Police stopped the Volvo on Boardman Road, Bowral and spoke with the 49-year-old female from East Bowral.
The woman was subjected to a roadside breath test which proved positive.
She was arrested and taken to Bowral Police Station.
A breath analysis produced a reading of 0.296.
The woman was issued a Court Attendance Notice for ‘High Range Drink Driving’ and ‘Fail to comply with a request to stop vehicle’.
She is due to appear at Moss Vale Local Court on September 19.
