CWA meeting

Berrima Singers
A Berrima Singers concert will be held at St Thomas Aquinas School hall, Bundaroo Street, Bowral on August 27. The performance will begin at 2.00pm and aims to raise funds for Father Chris Riley’s Youth off the Streets.Entry is by donation and afternoon tea will be available. A large hamper raffle and other prizes will be up for grabs during the afternoon.
Agriculture, environment day
The Mittagong Branch of CWA will hold its monthly meeting and Agriculture and Environment Day on August 23 at the rooms in Winifred West Park, Mittagong. Activities for the day start with the monthly meeting at 11.00 am followed by lunch at midday. At the conclusion of lunch formalities for the Agriculture and Environment Day will start. Garden party
The next fund raising activity for Can Assist will be a Secret Garden Party on September 24. This will be held at an undisclosed location in Bowral from 3pm to 6pm. Girl Guides
Be a part of a world-wide organisation for girls which encourages adventure and a sense of community. Moss Vale Girl Guides meets each Tuesday during the school term from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at the Girl Guides hall 3 Donkin Avenue, Moss Vale. Trivia nights
Test your general knowledge while enjoying fun with friends.The Moss Vale Golf Club hosts trivia nights every Thursday. These kick off at 6.30pm each Thursday and promise fun for everyone. The event is free with club vouchers and bragging rights up for grabs. No bookings are required just grab a few friends and come along to enjoy the fun.
Botanic bushwalk
Take in some fresh air and natural beauty, and even meet new people, with the next trek organised by the Southern Highlands Bushwalkers Inc.
The group will experience the botanical beauty of Mount Annan Botanical Gardens on August 27.
The bushwalkers will follow a 12km path around the gardens.
This is a moderate walk with some steep sections follow various tracks through the garden.
