5pm: A ute has ploughed through a fence and into a property at Towradgi.

Initial reports indicate the male driver suffered a medical episode while driving north on Memorial Drive at abotu 4.50pm Tuesday.

His white Toyota ute left the roadway and took out an estimated 30 metres of Colorbond fencing, before coming to rest on the fringes of a residential driveway.

The accident occurred about 150 metres south of Towradgi Road.

Traffic is moving in both directions but is at a crawl northbound.

One of two northbound lanes remains closed.

The man remains in his car; NSW Ambulance paramedics are at his side. More to come.
