Volunteers have supported Wingecarribee Adult Day Care Centres for the past 32 years. Six stalwart volunteers recently braved the cold at the centre, and painted the fence and garden furniture, tidied the garden and moved plants.

The volunteers also donated $500 to the Centre for ongoing support for the activities at the centre.
The day was organised by the daughters of the late Alison Lawson, a university-trained orthoptist who devoted her life to researching and finding a solution to treat visual dyslexia.
Wingecarribee Adult Day Centres (WADC) is a not for profit charity funded by the Federal Government. The group provides social interaction in a safe environment for people over 65.
