Coach Matt Griffiths said it was a flat game for the team, with a loss against the Shellharbour Swans on Sunday, August 6.
“There were a few standout performers, but on the whole we really didn’t travel well,” he said.
The under 9s team was at the opposite end of the performance spectrum.
Coach Shannon Prideaux said the team had a really good game, with a win against the Figtree Kangaroos.
“The kids played fantastically,” he said.
The Auskick team had a similar experience to the under 9s.
Stand-in coach Christine Fitzgerald said the team all of its positions, which gave them an advantage over the Albion Park Crows.
“They really took them apart when it was necessary,” she said.
“We saw some really good kicks, and they turned those kicks into some really good goals too. They were really impressive.”
