The group hosted a cake stall and raised more than $600 for a permaculture garden for the preschool.
The Winter Chill event was a collaborative effort between the Bundanoon Rebels FC, the Bundanoon Primary School P and C and the Friends of Bundanoon Preschool.
In an extremely generous gesture, one of the parent members of the Friends group, Jennifer Foster, donated the entire profits from her stall at the event.
Her delicious icecream business, Little Piggies, raised an extra $500 which she kindly donated to the preschool’s friends group.
This donation will also assist in building an Indigenous Bush Food Garden.
The garden will be a collaborative effort between the Quest for Life Centre, the local Indigenous community and the Friends of Bundanoon Preschool.
Bundanoon District Preschool director Deni Harden said it was a great event for the centre.
“The families did an incredible job, and we are so fortunate to have such an amazing preschool community.”
