But there’s no need for residents to worry.
An interagency emergency training exercise will take place at the Southern Regional Livestock Exchange (SRLX) on July 31.
The training exercise will begin at 8.15am and continue throughout the day.
Agencies taking part will include staff from Wingecarribee Shire Council, NSW Rural Fire Service, Fire and Rescue NSW, Roads and Maritime Services, NSW Environment Protection Authority, Department of Primary Industries, South East Local Land Services and officers from the NSW Police Force.
The exercise drill is being conducted to test emergency procedures, responses and communications.
