The Mittagong Senior Lions Rugby League Club will host a a day of home games on July 30.
First grade will play Oakdale Workers at 2.30pm.
After losing to Thirlmere in round 12 the Lions will be looking to push their way back into the top four.
Lions coach Dan Beardshaw said his team had a good attitude heading into the round 13 match.
“We are pretty looking forward to good performance,” he said.
“They boys have a good attitude and they are feeling determined.”
With just three games of the ordinary season remaining, Beardshaw said it was crucial to start the match strong.
“We have got to make sure we start well and then go out with some intensity,” he said.
“We mean business.”
Beardshaw said Tuesday’s training session had been one of the strongest this season.
“They were some good sessions and we worked on transitioning and our skills,” he said.
“This week we want to focus more on our structure and attacking and completing our sets,” he said.
Earlier in the season Mittagong drew 10-10 with Oakdale, and Beardshaw said he expected another tight match.
“I think we can get the win if we focus on doing what we need to do- building pressure and completing sets,” he said.
The Lions will also have several players returning from injury this weekend.
“We will pick the best 17 who can go out and there and get it for us,” Beardshaw said.
The next three weeks will be crucial for the Lions, to ensure they can make it to finals.
“If we win two of the last three games we will be guaranteed a spot in finals,” Beardshaw said.
The Lions reserve grade remains undefeated.
Beardshaw said he was confident in reserve grade’s ability to defeat Oakdale.
“They are very strong, probably one of the strongest sides this season,” he said.
“Billy [reserve grade coach] was pretty intense with them this week and there are a few of the 18s pushing for spots this week.”
Reserve grade will kick off at 1pm.
The under-18s will play Mt Annan at 10.30am.
Beardshaw said he hoped to see a good crowd of supporters at Mittagong Sportsground on Sunday.
