Mittagong Junior Rugby League Football Club members will go to the Stay Kind Cup on Sunday.
The game will raise funds for the Thomas Kelly Foundation’s Stay Kind initiative, which was launched in memory of Thomas’ brother Stuart.
Wests Tigers and Parramatta Eels players will wear jerseys with a Stay Kind logo on them, which will be auctioned off on the West Tigers website.
Club president Tim Murphy encouraged members and supporters to get behind the cause.
“Any initiative to educate young people [about mental health] benefits the community,” Mr Murphy said.
“A footy club isn’t just about what’s happening on the field, it’s what’s happening off the field,” he said.
The game will kick off at 4pm.
