The world’s richest one-day race will take place on July 30.
The 183km race will take riders through the Surrey Hills via Leith Hill, Ranmore Common and Box Hill before an iconic finish on The Mall.
After being confirmed as a starter, Ewan (Orica-Scott) will come up against his Giro d’Italia sprint rival Fernando Gaviria during the ride.
Now building up to its 6th edition, race has become the UK’s premier one-day race.
After skipping a year for the Olympics in 2012, the race has since grown into a weekend festival full of cycling events in London.
For the first time, the RideLondon-Surrey Classic has been recognised as a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) WorldTour event.
In 2014 Ewan debuted at the RideLondon-Surrey Classic and impressed spectators.
He was described as a rising star after his sprint.
