In fact most people in Bowral would have known where was wally was during the afternoon.
A bride, Kacey Riordin, and 17 of her friends dressed up in the red and white striped clothing made famous by the fictional character, Wally, for an afternoon of hen’s celebrations.
Kate, will marry Brad Pope at St Jude's Church in Bowral on August 19.
However, a hunt for treasure was the main focus of the bride and her buddies during their recent Bowral gathering.
Kate, who is the last in her family to wed, said themed celebrations were a family tradition and a “Where’s Wally?” theme was given the nod for her hen’s party.
The hen’s celebration began with a high tea at Craigieburn followed by a treasure hunt which kicked off in Corbett Plaza.
The hunt took in many of the sights in Bowral, including pubs in the area.
Several people in town at the time jumped at the chance to have their photograph taken with a Wally or two… or three...or 17.
