The Spuddies travelled to Appin where the defeated Bargo 18-6.
Spuddies captain/coach Aaron de Jager said it was an impressive team performance.
“It was an improved performance and we played some really good footy in patches,” he said.
“It was a really good team effort from everyone.”
The Spuddies led half time 6-0 and managed continued their lead into the second half.
De Jager said Zac Clewett and Damien Barton has strong games for the Spuddies.
The Spuddies lost to Bargo in earlier in the season and De Jager it was good to snatch one back.
The Spuddies Shield side will face off against Bundanoon on June 25 at Bundnaoon Oval at 2.30pm.
De Jager said the Spuddies were well-prepared heading into the match.
“It’s always good to have a local derby so it should be a close game,” he said.
“The Shield competition is relatively close this year.”
The Cup side will play Warragamba at 1pm.
De Jager said he hoped to see a good number of maroon and white supporters hit Bundanoon for the match.
