Wollondilly travelled to the country for the Orange Polocrosse Carnival, held over June 17 and 18.
Th A-Open team was made up of Kaitlyn Smith, Luke Greenslade, Luke Geddes and Craig Lidgard.
Wollondilly also borrowed Megan from Gulgong Polocrosse Club for the competition.
In their first game Wollondilly had a close 13-12 win over Sydney.
Wollondilly played Canberra next in a close, hard-fought contest.
The match went into extra time and Wollondilly was able to take a one point victory.
The next match was another close contest against Lake George.
Wollondilly won by two goals with a 9-7 scoreline.
The next game against Raglan sealed Wollondilly’s competition victory, with a 13-4 win.
Wollondilly Club member Vanessa Baxter said it was a great weekend for the club.
“It was a super weekend at the Orange carnival, the atmosphere was great,” she said.
Scarlett Geddes represented Wollondilly in the sub juniors competition on her new horse Happy.
Baxter said Scarlett’s performance over the weekend was “fantastic.”
