The clinic will be held on July 1 and 2 at K Ranch Arena, Mount Hunter.
Sessions will run from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.
Four of the finest and most respected reining trainers will run the clinics.
Bec Laurie, Rob Lawson, Rodney Peach and Matt Charles have years of experience in the reining world and will aim to help refine riders’ reining skills before the state show on July 8 and 9.
Reining is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch-type horse in the confines of a show arena.
The rider guides the horse through a precise pattern of circles, spins, and stops and all work is done at the lope and gallop.
The clinic will cost $100 per day.
Spaces are limited and booking are essential.
