CanForum 2017 will Rare Cancers Australia’s (RCA) third annual conference bringing together key leaders in cancer research, treatment and policy, to deliver real solutions for improving the lives of rare cancer patients in Australia.
At the event on August 9, RCA will launch ‘Rare Solutions – a Time to Act’, developed following stakeholder consultation and with the support of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
CanForum will discuss the actionable recommendations made in Rare Solutions including innovative clinical trial design, improving access to treatments, and better collaboration and support for people with rare cancers in Australia.
Present at the forum will be report contributors and special guests, including the Minister for Health Greg Hunt MP, Shadow Minister for Health Catherine King MP, rare cancer survivor and Paralympic Gold Medalist Kelly Cartwright OAM, and the ABC’s Sophie Scott.
