Two men and a woman were charged with drug possession for crystal methamphetamine when NSW Police and Corrective Services NSW officers screened more than 120 visitors during an operation at the prison on May 27.
Drugs and drug paraphernalia were allegedly found during Operation JAX, which took place between 8.30am and 1.30pm.
As a result, 13 people were refused entry due to drug detection, positive indications to drugs or consorting.
A total of 31 people and 18 vehicles were searched, three consorting warnings were given and one drug implement was seized.
Court Attendance Notices will be issued for drug detections, with dates for court yet to be determined.
The Hume Local Area Command Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Chad Gillies said the operation was regularly carried out with co-operation from Corrective Services NSW and the Goulburn Correctional Centre.
“These operations will continue and underline our commitment to preventing the introduction of illicit drugs and contraband into the correctional centre," Detective Inspector Gillies said.
