Sydney-born and bred guitar and violin duo Mimosa is back in the Highlands to deliver their unique style of swinging gypsy jazz.
While members Phoebe O’Shea and Morgan Haselden studied classical music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, they now perform a wide variety of genres, but most noticeably the gypsy jazz music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
The duo have performed from community markets to the big stage at the Sydney Opera House. They have also performed on cruise ships around the Mediterranean, Caribbean and the rivers of inland France.
When needed, Mimosa are called on by the ABC to perform live for television show audiences and to appear on open air radio.
Tickets are $35, including lunch, and can be purchased at The Bowral Bowling Club or online at www.moshtix.com.au/v2/event/mimosa-duo-sunday-roast/95109.
The performance will take place June 4, 12.00pm to 3.00pm.
