The Connecting Future: Your Care Matters, Our Community Matters talk will inform residents about palliative care and the current status of the Southern Highlands community hospice.
Hosted by the Southern Highlands Community Hospice, speakers Dr Yvonne McMaster OAM and Jane Mahony will answer the following questions:
- Why is palliative care on the agenda of the state and federal governments?
- What palliative care services and resources are currently available in the Highlands?
- What role will be hospice play?
- Why does palliative care matter to you and the community?
They will also address other questions posed by attendees.
The free seminar will include morning tea, and guests are requested to contribute a gold coin.
The session will be held May 23 from 9.00am at St Jude’s Auditorium, 34 Bendooley Street, Bowral.
